We proudly announce that registration is now open for the 2024 UIUC Plant Sciences In-person Symposium on August 30th from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Graduate students, we are currently accepting abstracts for two 15-minute oral presentations. If your abstract is chosen, you will receive travel and financial support to speak at UIUC! Showcase your research and make an impact on the plant science community.

Both undergraduate and graduate students can also participate in our poster competition where cash prizes will be presented to the best posters. We encourage you to submit one abstract per primary author. Remember, the deadline for abstract submission is July 30th, 11:59 PM.

This year’s symposium theme is “Cultivating Innovation: Bridging Disciplines in Plant Science.” This year the University of Illinois Plant Science Symposium aim to explore the latest innovations that connect different biological systems. Join us as we showcase researchers and leaders who are bridging the gaps between various types of biological and ecological data, integrating -omics data, conducting comparative genetics and genomics studies, leveraging environmental data, and much more.
